Can’t tell its a refurbished model i would have guessed it was new. Just download and install the Win 7 driver from the Genius website. I did manage to install the software. Most relevant reviews See all 6 reviews.

I bought this product because Sanner needed a portable scanner. Seems to be as well built as other notebook scanners.

I think that’s the sequence you need to follow. However, I would not recommend the software that came with. The Twain driver works great, just not the software, but with a third party software, this scanner is well worth the money. Additional Product Features Media Type.
